Himachal Pradesh is the beautiful hill state situated in the northern part of India. It is located in the lap of the magnificent Himalayas, the world’s highest mountain ranges. The various places of tourist interest are Shimla, Kufri, Kasauli, Kinnaur, Kullu Manali, Lahaul Spiti, Dalhousie, Chail, Mashobra, Dharamshala, Solan, Kangra, Chamba etc. Kullu Manali is best known for its snow clad peaks and trekking routes. Shimla is famous for the Christ Church. Kullu has the famous Raghunath temple and Manali has many Buddhist monasteries. Dharamshala is a hill station where Dalai Lama resides and is an important religious place for the Buddhists and Tibetans. There are many ancient historical temples in this state.
