Andhra Pradesh is the fifth largest state of India blended with popular historical monuments and high-tech modern cities. The two great rivers of the nation, Krishna and Godavari, offer a fertile basin to the state. Andhra Pradesh offers incredible sights to the tourists that include architectural monuments, the world’s tallest masonry dam, old caves and numerous temples. The Charminar is undoubtedly the most important monument of Hyderabad city. Golconda Fort is a true reflection of ancient architectural work that was built for protecting the city. Besides this, Bhongir Fort, Chandragiri Fort, Falaknuma Palace and Purani Haveli are some of the brilliant piece of ancient art work.

Andhra Pradesh has a number of pilgrimage centers for Hindu, Muslims, Buddhists and many others. Mecca Masjid is one of the largest Mosques in the world that is built opposite the Charminar. The Mosque can accommodate 10, 000 people at any point of time . Tirupati is a one of the important pilgrimage centers for Hindus where millions of devotees come to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Puttaparthi is said to be the birth place of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and millions of worshippers visit this place from all the corners of the World. Tirupati, Vijaywada and Warangal are some of the popular cities that encompass numerous Temples, Churches and Mosques.

Andhra Pradesh also offers number of cities that possesses famous wildlife sanctuaries. Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the oldest sanctuaries of the state that is rich in flora and fauna. It is spread in 806 sq.km areas and is a home to many animals like tiger, sloth bear, four horned antelope, chinkara, black buck and many more. Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary is another famous tourist destination of the state. The sanctuary is inhabitant for plant species like teak, bamboo, maddi, yepi, yegissa, sommi thandra, bandaru, tendu and many more. The sanctuary is also a home to wild species like cheetal, black bugs, sambhars, wild boars, wild dog, hyena, jackals, panthers and tigers. The sanctuary also inhabitants some of bird species like peafowl, quails, and reptiles like python, cobra, kraits and vipers can also be witnessed. Historical monuments, museums, caves, pilgrimage centers, and wildlife sanctuaries attracts tourists from every part of the country as well as world to visit Andhra Pradesh.
