Given below are the details about the tour itinerary: Wildlife Safari Tour in India. The duration of this tour is 14 days and 13 nights.
Day 1: Arrival at Dehi. Check in at a hotel in Delhi. A visit to the places of interest in Delhi: Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, the Governement buildings and a few other places as well.
Day 2: Take a flight from the Delhi airport to Khajuraho ( a village situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India). Drive from Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh wildlife sanctuary. Its a journey of seven hours. Check in at a jungle resort. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 3: Enjoy your elephant safari as well as jeep safari at the Bandhavgarh wildlife sanctuary. Spend the night in a jungle lodge.
Day 4: Travel to Khajuraho from the Bandhavgarh wildlife sanctuary. Check in at a hotel. Relax at the hotel.
Day 5: Khajuraho is known to be the home to the largest group of Jain Temples as well as Hindu Temples. The architectural beauty of these temples deserves a special mention. Explore Khajuraho. Night stay at a hotel.
Day 6: Drive to Shivpuri and on route visit the Orcha monument. Dinner as well as night stay at a jungle lodge.
Day 7:Opt for the morning as well as the afternoon safari to see animals in their natural habitat at Shivpuri.
Day 8: Travel to Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary that is situated in Rajasthan.The inhabitants of this sanctuary are hyenas, leopards, crocodiles, wild bears and sloth bears. This sanctuary is also the home to three hundreed species of birds.
Day 9: Make a trip to the Sorwal Lake and the Mansarovar Lake to catch a glimpse of the beautiful migratory birds. Night stay at a jungle resort.
Day 10: Travel to Jaipur. Arrival at Jaipur. Check in at a hotel in Jaipur. Explore the nearby areas. Night stay at a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 11: Explore the city of Jaipur, which is also known as the ‘pink city’. The places of visit at this city includes the Jantar Mantar, Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the Johri Bazar. Elephant ride at the Amber Fort. Night stay at a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 12: Drive to Agra and on route visit Fatehpuir Sikhri and the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Also make a trip to the Dargah of Sufi Saint Chisti, on route. Check in at a hotel in Agra. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
Day 13: Explore the tourist attractions of Agra: Taj Mahal ( one of the seven wonders of the world), Itmad –ud – daulha ( tomb of Nur Jehan’s father, Mirza Shiyah Beg), Sikandra ( Akbar’s Tomb) and Agra Fort. Drive to delhi.
Day 14: Take a flight from Delhi, to proceed with your journey. |
