Day 1:Arrival at Delhi.Take a flight from Delhi to Udaipur, a city in the state of Rajasthan,India. The city of Udaipur, is also referred to as the ‘City of Lakes’. Check out the most important places of visit at this city: City Palace, Lake Pichola and Jagdish Temple. Night stay at a hotel in Udaipur.
Day 2: Travel to Jodhpur, a city in Rajasthan. On route, visit the Jain Temples that have been made out of white marbles at Ranakpur, a village.The intricate architectural work that adorn the temples would definitely take you by surprise. Arrival at Jodhpur. Check out the tourist attractions of Jodhpur: Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort, Government Museum and a few other places as well. In the evening, get ready to board a train to the city of Jaisalmer, a city in Rajasthan, which is also known as the Golden City.
Day 3: Arrival at Jaisalmer. Check in at a hotel in Jaisalmer. After, your morning breakfast, visit the Jaisalmer Fort and explore the other tourist sites as well. In the afternoon, travel to Sam Sand Dunes, it is at a distance of 42 kms from Jaisalmer. On route, to Sam Sand Dunes from Jaisalmer, explore the villages. Camel ride at the Sam Sand Dunes. The long stretch of sand dunes, makes this place worth a visit. Watch the sunset at the Sam Sand Dunes. Night stay at a hotel in Jaislalmer.
Day 4 : Travel to Jodhpur after having your breakfast. Jodhpur is situated at a distance of 310 kms from Jaipur. Check in at a hotel in Jodhpur. Horse carriage ride to the Clock Tower Bazaar, the largest wholesale market as far as Jodhpur is concerned. Night stay at a hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 5: Board a train to Ranthambore from Jodhpur in the morning. Check in at a hotel in Ranthambore.
Day 6: Jeep safari at the Ranthambore National Park. This park is the home to animals, such as monkeys, elephants, wild boars, dears and chitals. After morning breakfast, travel to Jaipur. A visit to the tourist attractions of Jaipur: Hawa, Mahal, City Palace and a few other places as well. Explore the local markets of Jaipur that are well known for their display of a wide array of gift items. The gift items include handmade traditional crafts, brass items, pottery, jewelries that have been carved out of colored gemstones, block printed fabrics, patterned rugs that come in various designs and miniature size paintings. Night stay at a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 7: Travel to Amber Fort, which is situated at a distance of 11 kms as far as Jaipur is concerned. While traveling, on route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the mosque, palatial buildings and the Darga of Salim Chisti at Jaipur. Travel to Agra. Arrival in Agra. Check in at a hotel in Agra. You can while away your time at the hotel room or can make an effort to know the city of Agra better. Night stay at a hotel in Agra.
Day 8: A visit to the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Travel to Delhi. Take a flight from the Delhi International Airport for your onward journey. |
