Day 01: Arrival at Bangalore
The guests will be received by the representative at the airport and will be helped by the representative in checking in at the hotel in Bangalore. Bengaluru, as it’s officially known, is also called Silicon Valley of India because it houses top IT offices of India. This City is also blessed by the natural beauty , it has large gardens and is also known as Garden City of India. Bangalore is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka.
Day 02: Bangalore
Post breakfast there will be a sightseeing tour of Bangalore. The places to visit in the sightseeing tour include Vidhan Soudha, Nandi Temple, Lal Bagh Botanical Garden. Vidhan Soudha stands to be the biggest secretariat of India and bears the neo-Dravidian architecture. The Nandi Temple is dedicated to Bull God. The Lal Bagh Botanical Garden is a well-manicured park that has a Glass House and the flower shows organized here are excellent.
Day 03: Bangalore - Bennarghatta – Bangalore
After the morning, breakfast guests head for the Bannerghatta National Park. This wildlife reserve is extremely famous for its rich flora and fauna. Bannerghatta Tiger and Lion Reserve have a reserve of Indian tigers, lions and other mammals. For the night, guests will stay at the hotel in Bangalore.
Day 04: Bangalore – Mysore
In the morning guests leave for Mysore, the second largest city in the state of Karnataka and on arrival stay at the hotel. Karnataka is one of the fastest developing states in India and has a rich cultural history. After getting refreshed, visit to the Mysore Palace. The place nurtured the dynasty of Wodeyar’s. The Mysore Palace reminds one of the great bygone era of the kings who once ruled the land. The palace is an extravagant one and has all the lavishness one can imagine.
Day 05: Mysore - Ranganathittu - Mysore
On the fifth day, guests can visit the famous Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. This bird sanctuary is famous for the many species of birds that one cannot see in the crowded cities. It has six islets and the sanctuary is famous for migratory birds. The isolated islets and the abundance of aquatic insects during the monsoon make Ranganathittu a favorite abode for birds.
Day 06: Mysore-Nagarhole
Guests leave Mysore and travel to Nagarhole after the morning breakfast. The beautiful hill-station is a place not to be missed. The Nagarhole has recently been renamed as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park. The best attractions are the Asian elephants that are seen here.
Day 07: Nagarhole
At Nagarhole, which is famous for its wildlife, guests get to watch the diversity of the wildlife. The 247 square-mile park was originally a game sanctuary. Nagarhole which was declared as a National park in 1974, is situated in Coorg the coffee Land of Karnataka .. It has been now renamed as 'Rajiv Gandhi National Park. The nearest airport to Nagarhole is the Bangalore airport. The climate is pleasant and thus is suitable for the people visiting the Nagarhole.
Day 08: Nagarhole-Bandipur
Leaving Nagarhole guests travel to Bandipur. Upon arrival, guests check in at the hotel and the overnight stay is at the hotel in Bandipur. This well-maintained forest reserve is a home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. The Bandipur forests were once the game reserve for the Maharajas of Mysore.
Day 09: Bandipur
The ninth day of the Karnataka Wildlife Tour is for watching the rich and varied wildlife of Bandipur. It is importantly a tiger reserve. This part of the whole itinerary is the most exciting one, because guests get to see the regions well protected wildlife. After seeing the wildlife, guests return to the hotel and stay there overnight. The enchanting Nilgiri Mountains and their cloud-covered peaks form a picturesque backdrop for the park.
Day 10: Bandipur-Ooty
Next morning after breakfast guests leave for Ooty, which is a famous hill station in India. Many a foreign and domestic tourists’ flock to this place every year to enjoy the serene and cool climate. Ooty is one of the most popular hill stations in India. The places to visit while in Ooty include Botanical garden, Dottabeta Park and tea plantations. The flower show organized at the Botanical Garden should not be missed. The tea plantations are the hallmark of Ooty in Karnataka. The Botanical garden houses many species of flora and fauna, besides some are rare species.
Day 11: Ooty
The 11th day of the tour is free for relaxation. Guests can unwind here, in the cool environs of Ooty. It lies in Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu .. Ooty, is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. Nothing can match a leisurely and relaxed day in Ooty.
Day 12: Ooty
After breakfast, guests start for the excursion to a nearby village. The Todas are the tribal of this region and a visit to the Toda village acquaints the travelers with their ways of living in harmony with nature. After the excursion guests stay at the hotel in Ooty and relax for the day.
Day 13: Ooty-Coimbatore-Flight Back Home
The 13th day of the Karnataka Wildlife Tour is the last day. After experiencing the rich wildlife of the region, guests prepare for going back home. After the morning breakfast, guests head for the airport and board their respective flights back home.
