Day 01
The journey begins from the Delhi Cantonment Railway Station. Generally the train begins its journey at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Day 2
After the whole night's journey the Royal Orient comes to Chittorgarh in Rajasthan in the morning. Your guide will take you to the Chittorgarh Fort visiting where you will get to learn about all the different aspects of history of Rajasthan. From Chittorgarh you can come to Udaipur which is also another historical place in Rajasthan. After all these you need to come back to the train and the train will set out for Mehsana in Gujarat.
Day 3
The 3rd day is spent in sightseeing all around Gujarat. There are many places which are to be visited during this day. Among them the mentionable ones are Sun Temple in Modhera, Patola Weaving Center, Rani-ki Vav and many others as well. After visiting all these places Royal Orient will take you towards Sasangir.
Day 4
After having breakfast in the train you reach Sasangir. This place is mainly known for the Gir Lion's Sanctuary. Asiatic lion is an animal on the verge of extinction and Gir Forest is the only place where you will get the chance to come across them. Also visit the Ahmedpur Mandvi beach and St. Paul's Cathedral.
Day 5
Palitana is the main destination for the 5th day. Jain temples in this place are the main attractions. Shatrunjaya Hills are the locations of these Jain temples. After lunch the train reaches Sarkhej. You will be taken to the tours of Vishalla Village where you will get to know about the traditional culture of this place. At the end of the day the train comes back to Udaipur.
Day 6
After breakfast, you will be driven to Ranakpur. This is a place known for the Jain temples. You can enjoy the lunch here in any of the hotels available here. After spending the whole day here, Royal Orient tour moves towards Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.
Day 7
Jaipur is known as the Pink City. The 7th day of Royal Orient Tour can be spent in sightseeing inside Jaipur. There are several tourist destinations scattered here and there in this city. Also enjoy cuisines that are available in the several restaurants in Jaipur. After all these the train will start its final journey towards Delhi.
Day 8
This is the day when you have to disembark from the train as it comes to a halt in Delhi. You can enjoy a few more moments in the capital of India visiting the places of importance in this city. After this you can take flights or trains to get back home. |
