Day 01
Delhi is the capital city of India and the journey begins from this fabulous city. You can come to this city by any domestic or international flights that are available. After you come to the hotel from the airport, rest of the 1st day is free for you to go out for sightseeing or marketing in this city. Spend the night in the hotel after enjoying the city.
Day 2
You can take the breakfast in the hotel you have checked in. After that sightseeing of Delhi is the main thing in which you need to concentrate throughout the whole day. There are two parts of Delhi which are known as Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi is the city which is associated with the history of India. The narrow streets and old buildings will make you feel the true spirit of this place. Jama Masjid, the largest Muslim mosque in India and Mahatma Gandhi's memorial at Rajghat are the two major places which you should not miss out.
On the other hand New Delhi is an apparently newly built city although there are some of the buildings which were established by the British rulers in this country. Mughal emperor Humayan's tomb is also located in this part of Delhi. The sightseeing must also include the Qutub Minar. Come back to the hotel after all these sightseeings and spend the night over there.
Day 3
Take a flight from Delhi to Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir after having breakfast at the hotel. Kashmir is the valley which is known as “Heaven on Earth” because of the exotic natural beauty which looms large here. Both the Himalayan Mountains and Pir Panjal Mountains can be observed from this place. The old part of Srinagar has several buildings which date back to the ancient history of this place. Shrines having pagoda roofs will also attract your mind. So, start sightseeing in this city as soon as possible after the arrival. As for the night, book a houseboat on any lake in this city. It will be a mesmerizing experience in your life.
Day 4
The 4th day in Kashmir can be spent by sightseeing throughout the city. Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh are the two beautiful gardens which you can visit. The afternoon can be enjoyed in a Shikara tour on the lake. Shikara is the name of the Kashmiri boat which are narrow in shape. These Shikaras are available mainly on the famous Dal Lake. Spend the night in the houseboat.
Day 5
This day you may go to Gulmarg, a wonderful place in Kashmir mainly known for the scenic beauty. Skiing in Gulmarg is also a great attraction for the tourists coming here. Exploring the snow covered mountains throughout the day, come back to the houseboat and enjoy the silent night there.
Day 6
After having breakfast in the hotel you can catch the flight to Delhi from the Srinagar Airport. You will reach the capital within a few hours. Reaching there you can enjoy the last minutes in this city. Enjoy shopping and other activities in Delhi. Keep the evening for taking rest before your last journey to your hometown.
Day 7
