Day 01: Delhi
Our representative awaits your gracious presence at the Delhi Airport and will transfer you to the hotel in Delhi. The capital city of India has architectures that boast about the various dynasties that have been nurtured here.
Day 02: Delhi
After having breakfast in the hotel, a sightseeing tour of Delhi is arranged that covers the Qutub Minar the tallest minaret, India Gate the All India War Memorial, Laxmi Narayan Temple also called Birla Temple, the Rashtrapati Bhawan i.e. the President’s official residence and the Parliament House all of which date back to the British Raj. India Gate bears the names of all the soldiers of India who laid their lives during the World War I. Overnight you will stay in the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi- Jaipur
You will drive to Jaipur in the morning, which is 6-hours ride from Delhi and on arriving check-in at a pre arranged hotel. Jaipur also called as “The Pink City” is splendidly set in a rugged terrain with surrounding hills and ancient forts. The tour also includes the grand City Palace where the Maharaja still lives. Several antiques are housed here which includes a huge collection of weapons that belongs to the family that ruled this part of the country at some point of time. The Hawa Mahal and the Jantar Mantar are also included in the itinerary. The Wind Palace has an intricate kind of architecture and the light-sound show at the Jantar Mantar observatory is a sight to watch.
Day 04: Jaipur
Visit the imposing Amber Fort situated on the outskirts of the city on elephant back. The ceilings of the Amber Fort have classy glasswork. An elephant ride is arranged to provide you with a feel of the kingly lifestyle. The fort offers you with a fascinating insight into the lives of the Rajput rulers. You will enjoy fascinating views of Jaipur city.
Day 05: Jaipur- Agra
In the morning, check-out of the hotel and drive towards Agra. On the way, visit the city of Fatehpur Sikri made of Red Sandstone. The Buland Darwaja is a huge attraction amongst tourists. It’s like a gateway that welcomes you into the city. The other tourist attractions of Fatehpur Sikri include Jodha Mahal, Hawa Mahal and Salim Chisti’s Dargah. On arriving in Agra, a tour to the Taj Mahal is arranged. Taj Mahal is a well known Mogul monument that stands for love. The Red Fort of Agra situated at the heart of the town was built by Akbar and is a great place to visit. The red sandstone gleams in the bright sun. Your overnight stay is arranged in the hotel.
Day 06: Agra- Jhansi- Orchha
In the morning, you are transferred to the railway station for a train journey to Jhansi. We assist you when you arrive at the station and further journey to Orchha is arranged. A sightseeing trip to the town of Orchha in the afternoon is a treat. This town still bears the medieval settings and is the capital city of Bundela kings. Of the many imposing structures, Jehangiri Mahal, the Laxmi Narayan Temple and the Raj Mahal are of special importance. The Jehanagiri Mahal is like a prelude that opens the doors to the beautiful sight of Taj Mahal. The temple is dedicated to Lord Narayan and his consort Laxmi.
Day 07: Orchha- Khajuraho
Khajuraho is located at a distance of 150kms from Orchha and on your arrival check-in at the hotel. Khajuraho, famous for its temples, acknowledged as artistic wonders of the world, is an incomparable experience. The temples are famous for their erotic sculptures and sensual appeal and have been declared as world heritage sites.
Day 08: Khajuraho- Varanasi
Visit the eastern group of Temples in the morning that consists of 2 Jain and 3 Hindu Temples. The significance of the Temples is the general religious tolerance of the people and the rulers of those times in particular. In the afternoon, a flight takes you to Varanasi and proceeds towards Sarnath, one of the holiest Buddhist destinations. Sarnath is the place where Gautama Buddha gave his first sermon. Observe the remains of Buddhist Monastery and the museum that has an excellent collection of sculpture and art.
Day 09: Varanasi- Delhi
Take boat ride early in the morning in the river Ganges and observe the cremation ghats and traditions of the people. You can choose to visit one of the Hindu temples that line alongside the river. In the afternoon, you are transferred to the airport for your journey towards Delhi, after which our representatives will transfer you to the international Airport.
