Day 01: Chennai

Day 02: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram

While enroute Mahabalipuram, visit Kanchipuram which is another temple city. Some of the important temples located here which you should visit includes Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Kumara Kottam, Kachapeshwarar Temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Ekambaranatha Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, Kailasanathar Temple. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silk sarees. These sarees are hand woven and are of highest quality. In the evening reach Mahabalipuram and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Mahabalipuram
The next day, explore the shore temples of Mahabalipuram and its other attractions. Some of the major attractions include the Pancha Rathas( Five Rathas ) which are named after Pandavas (Yudhishtra, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva) as well as Draupadi. Do not miss visiting the Varaha Cave Temple which is a rock-cut temple, Arjuna's penance, descent of Ganges which is an open-air bas relief and the Thirukadalmallai temple which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This place has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Departure
Reach the Mahabalipuram airport next morning to board a flight to your way back home.
