Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
The guests are transferred to a hotel in Delhi which is the capital of the country. The city of Delhi is dotted with many historical attractions for the domestic and the international travelers. After their arrival they spend their night in some of the most enjoyable hotels in this bustling metropolitan. One can see many old buildings in the city of Delhi and can enjoy on the way itself because every corner of this historical city reflects the glorious past of India. The city of Delhi is a treasure of past events that have taken place over there right from the era of the Mughal emperors.
Day 02: Delhi – Jaipur
On the second day after breakfast, the tourists visit various places in Delhi which include the Red Fort or ‘Lal Quila’ built in red sandstone that was the symbol of power in the Mogul era and Jama Masjid the largest mosques in India. The Masjid is also one of the oldest holy places of worship in the capital city. The Fort and the Masjid was built by Shah Jahan. The Red Fort is a monstrous structure and was also built by the esteemed Emperor Shah Jahan. Rajghat, which is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated and Chandini Chowk which is the famous market place of Delhi has been the place of hustle and bustle since the Mogul rule. In the afternoon, the tour leaves for Jaipur.
Day 03: Jaipur
The city of Jaipur is the symbol of Royal heritage with its numerous historical monuments. After having breakfast the tourists are taken for an excursion to the Amber Fort which in the olden days served as the capital for the state of Jaipur. It was built in the year 1592. Then they are given an elephant ride from the Aravalli’s foothills to the entrance of the Amber Fort. In the afternoon the tourists are taken to a museum where they can see the extensive collection of carpets, arts, weapons and enamel ware. They are also taken to visit the Jantar Mantar the observatory and the Hawa Mahal also called as the palace of winds in Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal signifies the feat of engineering of the land.
Day 04: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
The tour leaves for Agra after having breakfast. On the way they visit Fatehpur Sikri which is also known as the Mughal city which was abandoned. One can see the graceful and ancient buildings which include the Akbar Mausoleum where the tomb of emperor Akbar lies in the center of the large garden, Jama Masjid has beautiful interiors and was the first structure to be built in 1571, Panch Mahal which is a five storeyed pavilion for ladies of the harem and many other palaces. After arriving at Agra, the tourists are provided with a comfortable stay at a hotel of the city and they have an overnight stay in the same hotel.
Day 05: Agra
The graceful city of Agra still retains its Mogul character with numerous historical relics and attractions. Post breakfast the tour leaves for sight seeing tour of the city of Agra. There the tourists visit the Red Fort, which contains the public and private audience hall, and many other structures that are beautiful, the Itimad-ud-daulah, and the most remarkable monument of India, i.e., the Taj Mahal, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz and that is why it is also known as the symbol of love. The Taj Mahal is also known as the Seven Wonders of the World .
Day 06: Agra – Delhi
The tourists leave for Delhi after having their breakfast and then are checked in at a hotel. They are taken to tour the city of Delhi in the afternoon. The tour includes visiting places like Humayun’s Tomb built by his wife and has influences of Persian architecture, Qutub Minar the tallest minar in India, Connaught Place a contemporary shopping complex, President House or Rahtrapati Bhavan and the Birla Mandir temple dedicated to the Lord Laxmi Narayan. They can also enjoy a cycle or an auto rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk a popular Bazaar.
Day 07: Delhi – Rishikesh
Haridwar and Rishikesh are the main spiritual cities that devout Hindus visit each year. The tour leaves for Rishikesh in the morning and the tourists on the way visit Haridwar to Rishikesh where there are several temples, ashrams and yoga centers. They check into a hotel after they arrive at Rishikesh.
Day 08: Rishikesh - -Delhi
The tourists visit the holy city of Rishikesh, and find many sacred places of worship after having their breakfast. Then in the afternoon the tour leaves for the city of Delhi and the tourists spend their night in a hotel at Delhi.
Day 09: Departure from Delhi
The guests are transferred to the airport from where they can board the flight to their way back home.
