Traveling to Kerala is relatively trouble free as all major towns are connected either by air, rail or road. The state has over 200 railway stations with about 101 train services connecting it with the rest of the country. Trains from Kerala go as far as Jammu Kashmir in the North. The Konkan line on the west connects Kerala to Mumbai and further in to the Northwest states of the country. The Kollam-Madurai line connects the state with neighboring states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Kerala has an extensive network of roads connecting it with the neighboring states. The state has five national highways passing through it namely, NH 47, NH 17, NH 49, NH 212 and NH 213. The state has two international airports and a domestic airport. The International airports are situated in Trivandrum and Kochi, while the domestic airport is in Kozhikode. The international airport in Trivandrum has daily flights to Singapore, Colombo, Male, Muscat, Bahrain, Kuwait and Dubai. Cochin is connected to several Gulf destinations and has domestic flights services to Mumbai, Delhi, Banglore, Chennai and Goa.
